You’ve heard of man crushes?  That’s when a straight guy is enamored with another straight guy.  If you take that and transform it into the business world, that is how we feel about Smitten Kitten.  They do such a fantastic job with such a powder keg of merchandise that we are always impressed.  Thump– goes our hearts with admiration, (that’s the crush part).

We wrote a blog last year about our AgingButDangerous experience at Smitten Kitten in Minneapolis.  Where, during our adventure to a “sex shop”, the only thing that I personally felt UNcomfortable with was Jean.  Her total fascination with the inventory, and at times overt intellectual exhilaration, (accompanied by increased decibel levels, over their many and diverse offerings), made me periodically attempt shrinking.

Since our visit, we have learned to depend on them to answer questions that “one” might not feel comfortable asking ANYONE.  Their level of professionalism rises above the discomfort “one” might feel, and the idea of judgment on their side is non existent. In other words it is almost impossible to feel stupid asking the questions that you have always wanted to ask but never had the guts.

We aren’t gushing about this because ABD has ANTHING to gain monetarily—YOU, however, have much to gain by using their well trained staff as your sexual confidant when you have questions or encounter issues. AND IT’S FREE.  (Statistically sex is one of the most popular topics  dealt with on any “boomer” website—we know what you are thinking deep down inside your slightly dangerous sub-conscious–good for you.)

Join the pros at Smitten Kitten for a special party co- hosted by Cindy Farrow of Essential Bodywear.  (We had her at the AgingButDangeorus Casting Call and she was great.) Cindy is a professional bra fitter and will offer individuals expert advice on bra fitting and maintenance. After you get fitted, Kitten educators will be around to offer one on one product information. All boobs welcome, lady boobs, man boobs, trans boobs, your friend’s boobs too. Bras are available that are both minimizing and maximizing.  It might feel more comfortable to tell your husband, “I’m going to a bra fitting”, than “I’m going to a sex shop”.
