CHECK IT OUT!!  “Don’t believe everything you hear”, said the wise sage; and CERTAINLY don’t believe everything that people send you on the web.  Recently we received a bogus communication, (in the form of an official looking government document), from a very smart, sophisticated woman.   She truely felt she was sharing information of great importance with people she cares about.  After researching the item, another astute friend, (we have many of them), found that the FALSE information she was circulating, designed to incite emotional surges (and in this case anti-government sentiment), had been around since the Bushes.  Use www.factcheck.orgwww.virtualsalt.com , www.snopes.comwww.About.com , www.bcps.org to sort out the good stuff from the hooey.  There seem to be almost as many resources as there are Urban Legends to be debunked.
