A“FIERECE & FABULOUS” 2024 CALENDAR FROM AGING BUT DANGEROUS FEATURES 12 WOMEN AGES 50- 83 TASTEFULLY POSING NUDE IN A VARIETY OF “LIBERATING” SETTINGS TO DEFY AGING STEREOTYPES AND TO HELP FIGHT CANCER

TWIN CITIES –  Maybe 81-year-old Martha Stewart’s swimsuit cover for Sports Illustrated this spring was just the opening act for AGING BUT DANGEROUS’ (ABD) new calendar!? Now 12 women – ages 50-83 — from across the country are tastefully baring all for a 2024 calendar to defy aging stereotypes and to help raise money to fight cancer. Released this month for the upcoming Holiday shopping season, the “Fierce & Fabulous” calendar features a dozen beautiful women, inside and out, who have bravely embraced their age — and bodies — by going full Monty!

The 12×12 color calendar retails for $24.95 (with a portion of all sales befitting the American Cancer Society). It is available from AGING BUT DANGEROUS at  https://agingbutdangerous.com/fierce-fabulous-calendar/. The edgy, artful and alluring 12 photos were all shot pro bono entirely on location at The Zebra House in St. Paul, Minn., by international award-winning Annie Marie Photography.*

Jean Ketcham, the 83-year-old calendar creator and ABD co-founder toasts the Fierce & Fabolous women

Fierce & Fabulous” celebrates women who have embraced their age and are comfortable with who they are — and they aren’t afraid to show who they are, even with their clothes off,” says Jean Ketcham, the 83-year-old who created the calendar (and appears in the buff for the month of January, hoisting a very large martini).

Jean is the co-founder and owner of the renowned international movement AGING BUT DANGEROUS that encourages women to lead their fullest, best lives with events that have included everything from parachuting out of planes to taking care of themselves with “colonoscopy parties” and other things essential to self-realization and care along the aging journey.

“Besides wanting to inspire other women to have the freedom to be who they are as they grow older, we also hope to raise funds for the American Cancer Society,” Ketcham adds. “Faye” our 81 -year-old friend who graces the cover of the calendar has Stage 4 colon cancer, so this is one way we can support her, and others like her. Like Faye’s calendar cohorts, she found the experience of posing in the nude ‘liberating and invigorating.’”

Select Quotes from Other Calendar Women

“Aging is not about the body getting older and not working as well. For me, it is about growing my spiritual self, loving myself, learning new things, empowering myself, living in gratitude and forgiveness. Aging is a mindset and attitude, therefore, keeping a youthful attitude, looking at the world with wonderment, stay joyful and happy, learn to laugh at yourself, finding your purpose in service to humanity, take care of yourself mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually, and live in your true authentic self, then age becomes ageless.” – Rev. Nancy Lee, 70/February

Rev, Nancy Lee, 70, February’s reminder about self-love

“I have renewed my Faith in God knowing this is all temporary and my ‘final phase’ will make up for the years lost. I check frequently to see if I am listening, am I being authentic, am I being truthful and honoring my values when it would be easier not to? Now I am going forward with all the Gusto of being free in mind, body and spirit! I love my body – thick thighs and other signs – as it is and honor my body for winning all the battles I gave it! Could self-love be more than a bubble bath?! – JJ, 77/October

“I was born one year before the iconic Barbie doll hit the shelves. As a result, my perception of beauty ideals was not only skewed but unattainable. I still carry and create a harsh mirror for myself, and yet… Aging has brought new insights and forgiveness. Each wrinkle and ‘Where the heck did that come from?’ moment” (insert sagging skin, sprouting hair, cuddly new bulge, etc.) is about self-discovery. I am not an age. I’m a questioning and playful soul wrapped in a wonderfully imperfect body. Time is my friend.” — Gail, 65/APRIL
